Natasha P. Olguin is a proud Chicago native, raised in North Lawndale on the city’s West Side,

who has built a dynamic 20-year career in film rooted in her hometown. She holds a B.A. in

Speech & Communications from the University of Illinois, with a minor in African American

Studies. Natasha sharpened her screenwriting skills through the Independent Screenwriters

Group and is an alumna of ScreenwritingU.

Balancing her talents as both an independent filmmaker and a seasoned studio professional,

 

Natasha is a member of three national unions: IATSE Local 476, the Producers Guild of

America, and the Directors Guild of America. She made history as the first African American

female Location Manager in the Midwest, with notable credits including The Chi, 61st Street,

Emperor of Ocean Park, and the upcoming Marvel series Ironheart. As the creator and co-founder of Noisemakers Entertainment, Natasha has written, directed, and produced films that have aired on BET, BET+, Amazon, and ABC. Her work has screened at

numerous film festivals and earned international acclaim, including a nomination for an African

Movie Academy Award in Nigeria. Most recently, she was named one of NewCity’s Film 50

Producers.

Beyond her creative work, Natasha is a successful entrepreneur. She has served as CEO and Co-

Founder of Windy City Event Rentals, a company specializing in event rentals across the

Chicagoland area. In 2024, she earned a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the Goldman Sachs

10,000 Small Businesses program and is completing the YWCA Breedlove Accelerator. A passionate advocate for community empowerment, Natasha has been a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. for over 30 years. She formerly served as President and Co-Founder of the B.I.G.G. Hearted Foundation, which provided scholarships to Chicago high school students. She is a member of NAWBO and serves as a co-beat facilitator for Chicago’s 4th Ward. Natasha is the visionary behind the newly formed Beyond the Frame, a workforce development program and educational initiative focused on equipping underserved communities with skills-based training in entrepreneurship, filmmaking, and the trades.

Chicago native, Adrienne Swan, is a career film professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. After spending 20 years starting as an Assistant Accountant moving up to Key Production Accountant  on various films and tv shows throughout the country, Adrienne leveraged her financial expertise to delve further into the realms of producing  and storytelling.

In 2012, Adrienne co-founded  Noisemakers Entertainment, LLC, a production company that has produced films that have been recognized by various film festivals domestically and internationally. In this role, Adrienne has produced short films for her own company and allowed her to lend her knowledge to other creatives as well.   

​

Adrienne has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and more than 30 credits in her filmography to date.   In recent years Adrienne has added Line Producer and Production Management to her experience.

Presently, Adrienne lends her talent and professionalism to the Transportation department on various film and television projects and provides budget consulting services. 

 

Adrienne is the Executive Director behind the newly formed Beyond the Frame, a workforce development program and educational initiative focused on equipping underserved communities with skills-based training in entrepreneurship, filmmaking, and the trades. As a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Adrienne continues her commitment to social advocacy and youth empowerment.

Gary, IN native, LaTrice L. Edwards industry experience started in 2001 as a make-up artist for several studio films, television and Broadway theatrical shows. The I.A.T.S.E. film union member has had the opportunity to work with industry legends such as Ron Howard (“The Dilemma”) and Kelsey Grammer (“Boss”), in addition to working with several notable figures and celebrities, including President Barack Obama. Edwards holds degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Ball State University. The Ball State University Alumni Association honored Edwards in 2007 with the Alumni Award of Achievement, in recognition of her professional accomplishments and voluntary service. Edwards is a 2011 life membership inductee of the Northwest Indiana Society of Innovators.
